We would highly recommend this hotel for its beauty, charm, peacefulness and incredible view of the beach from the pool. We enjoyed a mini facial by the pool which was so relaxing, this was delivered by German who has a wicked sense of humour. Throughout the day you have the choice to get involved in many activities throughout the day from painting classes, Spanish classes, tequila tasting, sushi making and volleyball etc. Big shout out and thanks to Brenda who was so energetic, fun and had a great sense of humour, she really made the class a memorable experience for us. It was so much fun singing and dancing in the pool and trying to follow the staff who took the class. We particularly enjoyed taking part in the Aqua aerobics at 12.00 each day. We enjoyed all the food in the restaurants, our favourite was the Italian Palazzo and the Asian Azia. You must make sure you get up early at least once to enjoy the sunrise. A special mention to our warm ,friendly, and very helpful and knowledgeable concierge, Cipriano. They are all so friendly and appear to all enjoy their work, and working together as a team, to make the guests experience the best it can possibly be. The staff in all areas from housekeeping, meet and greet, entertainment and the catering team are all extremely hard working. We enjoyed many drinks in the pool and the waiters by the pool and beach are constantly making sure you have a drink, including much needed waters!! Thank you to Jorge, Genaro and Yael who were very attentive, greeting us each morning with smiles and warmth and checking on us throughout the day. The infinity pool directly looking out onto the beach and ocean is simply a view to die for. A new aircon unit, lamp shades, bins etc and a splash of colour would assist with this. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but could do with a little updating by way of freshening up the paint work and general modernisation. This 25yr old hotel has such charm and all the buildings, gardens and grounds feel very classy and are of a very high standard. The grounds and low rise colonial style buildings are simply beautiful and so peaceful to walk around. We have really enjoyed our weeks stay at this wonderful hotel.
